What Does New Kia Optima Look Like?
Wondering what does the new Kia Optima look like? Well, Kia unveiled the redesigned 2011 Optima at 2010 New York Auto Show, and it looks like the Coupe version will be the Optima sedan less two doors!
Changes in Physical Dimensions
Based on a fresh platform, the next generation Optima sedan is going to be wider, and longer that the current models, while the Coupe is expected to be even bolder, and appealing, more like the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
The power train may remain more or less the same on the Optima sedan, with either a 200-horsepower direct-injection, 274-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4, or the 2.4-liter inline-4 engines, mated to 6-speed manual gearbox. The optional 6-speed automatic transmission is also expected to be on the offer, along with shift paddles on the steering wheel.
Fresh Styling Cues
So, finally it looks like the Kia has taken a sharp turn down style avenue, but we will have to wait and watch, what kind of show Kia really puts up when the new Optima arrives at the dealerships this fall. Probably, new Optima Coupé may change the way a Kia Optima looked like, and it is just about time Kia needed a major revamp in terms of styling cues; this may mean the sales of Optima may observe a tremendous boost!
